A vertically oriented abstract painting built from interlocking, looping forms that wind through a warm, atmospheric field of color. Earthy ochres, terracotta, peach, and rust tones are punctuated by cooler blues, teals, and lavender, creating a rhythmic push and pull between heat and calm. Thick, meandering lines curve and double back on themselves, suggesting pathways, river bends, or topographic contours rather than fixed objects. Layers of translucent paint and scumbled textures allow earlier marks to surface, giving the composition a sense of depth, erosion, and time. The painting feels simultaneously architectural and organic—like a map that has been softened by memory—inviting the viewer to wander through its visual terrain rather than read it literally.
