A lively, luminous abstraction burst from interlocking curve shapes, semi-transparent color fields and gestural overlays. This painting feels airy and buoyant like a sunlit abstract landscape where forms drift, overlap and glow. The first painting upon returning from a trip to New Mexico, where I spent some time on the Sandia Crest, just east of Albuquerque.
