An abstract composition that presents a more restrained, architectural rhythm, emphasizing flow, structure and continuity. The painting is organized around a network of broad, pale bands—creamy whites and soft grays—that curve, loop, and intersect across the surface. These forms read like arches, conduits, or pathways, giving the composition a sense of engineered movement, as if the image were a schematic for motion itself.The contrast between the clean, continuous lines and the rough, layered textures creates tension. The pale bands unify the surface and guide the eye, while the expressive underpainting resists total control, asserting individuality and spontaneity. The overall effect is rhythmic and forward-moving, yet contemplative. One of the last paintings of 2025.
